Therapeutic Bodywork · Downtown Golden, Colorado

For pain that keeps returning, and bodies that want more options.

Thoughtful, hands-on work for recurring pain, chronic tension, injuries, and movement patterns that feel stuck. Sessions are collaborative, unhurried, and built around attention.

Experience

Seven years working with many kinds of bodies.

For seven years, I’ve worked with people navigating injuries and surgery histories, chronic neck and shoulder tension, desk work, athletic training, stress, and age-related mobility concerns.

My work draws on thousands of hours of hands-on practice and ongoing study, including my fourth year in Marcello Palozzo’s five-year Human Movement Studies program. I meet each person according to their history, goals, and relationship to movement.

Approach

It all comes down to attention.

Recurring pain and tension are often part of a larger pattern: how you brace, breathe, move, recover, and adapt to stress or old injuries.

I combine massage, manual therapy, movement, and careful observation to notice what responds and help your body find more useful options. The goal isn’t to fix your body, but to help you understand it well enough to work with it more skillfully.

A Good Fit

This work is most useful when you want relief and understanding.

You may be a good fit if...

  • Massage, chiropractic, physical therapy, or exercise helped temporarily, but something still feels unresolved.
  • You want to move, train, work, or rest with more confidence.
  • You’re curious about patterns, not only symptoms.
  • You value careful, collaborative work.

This may not be the right fit if...

  • You want a predictable spa-massage routine.
  • You want someone to fix the problem without your participation.
  • You equate effective treatment with very firm, fast, or painful work.

The way I recommend beginning.

One session may change how you feel. Four give us time to see what changes, what returns, and how bodywork, self-release, and movement work together for you.

4-Session Intensive
$560
Three 75-minute bodywork sessions · one 60-minute individualized movement session
  • 01 · Understand & begin. Review your history, work hands-on, and reassess in a 75-minute session.
  • 02 · Follow the pattern. Work from what changed and what returned, often adding a simple therapy-ball practice for between visits.
  • 03 · Build on what changed. Continue from what we’ve learned instead of starting over.
  • 04 · Put it into movement. Apply what we’ve learned in a 60-minute individualized movement session—closer to personal training than a group class.

The order may change based on what we learn.

Not the right fit after the first session?

You’ll pay $560 up front. If either of us decides after the first visit that the Intensive isn’t the right fit, I’ll refund $415; you’ll pay only the usual $145 for that session.

What clients say.

First Session

What to expect at your first session.

Most new clients begin with 75 minutes so we can understand the problem and start without rushing.

01 · Talk

We begin with your history.

We review your intake, what matters today, and what you’ve already tried.

02 · Work

We choose a place to start.

The session may include pressure, sustained holds, movement, breath, traction, or guided attention.

03 · Reassess

We check what changed.

We compare, move, or retest the original concern before deciding what deserves attention next.

Your feedback guides the work. You don’t need the right words—only a willingness to notice and respond.

Also at Denver Movement School

Bodywork and movement practice pair well.

Alongside bodywork, I teach a weekly Tuesday class at Denver Movement School focused on strength, coordination, movement skill, and play.

Bodywork offers new information; movement gives it somewhere to go.

FAQ

A few common questions.

Is this massage?

Yes, but not a fixed routine. Sessions may also include movement, breath, sustained holds, guided attention, and retesting how something feels.

Is this physical therapy?

No. I don’t diagnose or provide physical therapy plans. This is therapeutic bodywork informed by manual therapy, movement practice, and hands-on experience.

Will it hurt?

It can be intense, but not so much that you brace against it. You should still be able to breathe, respond, and remain present.

Do I need four sessions?

No. Single sessions remain available. The Intensive gives us enough continuity to see what changes and returns, work hands-on more than once, add self-release, and apply what we learn to movement.

Do you work with injuries or surgery history?

Yes, when bodywork is appropriate and your medical team has cleared it. Include relevant history on your intake form.

Relief is useful. Better understanding lasts longer.
